Higher Degrees of Reiki
Channeled by Ann Thomas between 1994 and 1997, the Higher Degrees of Reiki is an advanced Reiki system available to Reiki Masters seeking to deepen their practice. This system aims to elevate practitioners to a 5th-dimensional consciousness and embody the concept of oneness. The transition from the 4th to the 21st Degree brings profound changes to a practitioner's personal life and significantly enhances their healing capabilities
The Higher Degrees of Reiki is separated into three levels: Post Master, Grand Master, and Ascended Master. The Post Master level includes 4th through to the 7th degree, Grand Master level is 8th to the14th degrees, and the Ascended Master level is the 15th degree through to the 21st degrees.
Reiki Post Master Degree
The Post Master Degree is for Reiki Masters who wish to expand their consciousness and increase their vibration to higher levels. The Post Master degree is made up of the fourth degree to the seventh degree and provides Reiki Masters with a substantial leap in consciousness and adds a significant amount of tools to the practitioner’s energetic toolbox.
The intention of the fourth to seventh degree is to assist Reiki practitioners to move out of third dimension thinking and enable a greater connection with the planetary energies, source energy, and the unified field of Oneness. Each degree has a specific focus as follows:
Fourth Degree Reiki. The ten symbols in this degree focus on healing the past, present, and future, increasing spiritual awareness, and connecting to mother earth.
Fifth Degree Reiki. The six symbols in this degree focus on increasing physical healing abilities and strengthening awareness of oneself and connecting to divine consciousness.
Sixth Degree Reiki. The six symbols in this degree focus on increasing the connection to Planet Earth’s divine consciousness and one’s purpose as part of the wholeness of Earth.
Seventh Degree Reiki. The seven symbols in this degree focus on our divine connection to source. These beautiful symbols are here to help raise the frequency of our consciousness so that we can adjust to the new waves of love and light entering our reality.

Reiki Grand Master Degree
The Grand Master Degree progresses a Master through the higher frequencies of light to transform disciplined energy workers to a deeper understand of their true power and energy potential. This degree includes the eighth degree to the fourteenth degree and each degree provides a unique type of energy that Masters can develop and integrate into their own lives and their practice.
Eighth Degree Reiki. The three symbols in this degree focus on clearing and completing previous life purposes as well as creating new purpose moving forward. These symbols are without a doubt powerful and perpetuate the understanding that we create our reality, path, and purpose.
Nineth Degree Reiki. The two symbols in this degree focuses on clearing old energy patterns that do not serve new life purposes to make way for higher understanding of higher frequencies of love and light.
Tenth Degree Reiki. The symbol in this degree brings attention to the present moment and the journey taken to get to his moment thus far. Simply put; an energetic checkpoint where Masters can evaluate their progress, rejuvenate their energy and set intentions for their upcoming spiritual path. This would include moving away from the 3rd dimensional thinking of limitations and fear to higher frequencies of peace and trust.
Eleventh Degree Reiki. The symbol in this degree sets the energetic baseline moving forward into higher dimensions of consciousness. The energy of this symbol represents new beginning and the ability to create new patterns and manifestations in life. There is more pleasure in life as the old thought patterns dissolve and make way for a new sense of joy.
Twelfth Degree Reiki. The two symbols in this degree brings conscious awareness and will increase a Master’s ability to receive knowledge and clarity from Higher Self and other dimensions. Fifth degree symbols are reattuned to the twelfth degree.
Thirteenth Degree Reiki. The symbol in this degree increases the gratitude and the appreciation for the powerful quantum connection with Mother Earth. Sixth degree symbols are reattuned to the thirteenth degree.
Fourteenth Degree Reiki. The three symbols in this degree provide a deeper connection with self and the potential energy to manifest instantaneously becomes much stronger. A new sense of calmness arises and peace becomes a new normal e-motion. Seventh degree symbols are reattuned to the fourteenth degree.

Reiki Ascended Master Degree
The Ascended Master Degrees is the final phase of the Higher Degrees of Reiki. This degree will allow the full realization of the potential to living an enlightened life in a physical body. If a Reiki Master has made the commitment to reach this final degree, they have worked through significant personal transformation and holding some of the highest frequencies of energy available to us and doing so in a grounded practical way. The focus of these last degrees is living an enlightened life through using personal power, manifesting their reality, and alignment with their highest-level of consciousness.
Fifteenth Degree Reiki. The two symbols in this course are about living the essence of the frequency of love that helps align the energy practitioner with source energy. These symbols strengthen intuition and support the development of claircognitive abilities.
Sixteenth Degree Reiki. This degree highlights the work that has been put in to mastering of all aspects of life. From the ability to discern what is for your highest good to being able to respond rather than react in all life situations. The two symbols in this degree supports the culmination of these abilities.
Seventeenth Degree Reiki. The seventeenth degree focuses on connection with the world beyond the physical plane of existence that we live in. The two symbols help communicate with consciousness of a higher mind and offers the concepts of greater wholeness beyond our world as we know it. Fifteenth degree symbols are reattuned to the seventeenth degree.
Eighteenth Degree Reiki. This degree will prove that the Reiki Master have freed themselves from the limitations of the third-dimensional mindset and maintaining inner peace and a grounded approach to life. A new symbol supports this grand journey.
Nineteenth Degree Reiki. This degree revisits symbols from a previous degree and re-attunes them to the nineteenth degree. Masters gain a deeper understanding of their capacity to attract and channel what they need for their highest good. Instantaneous manifestation evolves from a mere concept into a practical skill.
Twentieth Degree. As the vibrational frequency rises exponentially, this degree establishes a pure connection with soul’s source energy. Navigating the world with greater confidence and a stronger sense of the true self is becoming natural. This degree revisits symbols from a previous degree and re-attunes them to the twentieth degree.
Twenty-First Degree Reiki. Finally the true journey begins. This is the first day of the rest of your life as a Master in form. This culminating degree solidified an unwavering connection with our Mother Earth and the greater morphic field of the all-encompassing love through light. The symbol in this degree connects you with the ultimate energy of oneness.
